NOTE: While not included in the overall findings federal IGs expressed a need attain testimonial subpoena authority. Some federal IGs questioned the role of CIGIE and whether the transition from PCIE/ECIC was a success. Finally, federal IGs also expressed frustration with the CIGIE Integrity Committee (IC) process and suggested further scholarship into both the (IC) process, and suggested the CIGIE legislation be revisited at the 5-year mark.
